Receiving A Freight Shipment
Freight damage is rare, but it happens. What you do in the first ten minutes matters. Please walk around the pallet before you sign for it. Do not sign clean if anything looks off.
Look for these signs: torn or missing shrink wrap, a dented top cap, a scraped cabinet, tipped or crushed corners, a broken pallet, or oily spots on the box. Bring a phone and take photos of the pallet on the truck before anything moves.
If you see damage, write "damaged" on the delivery slip before you sign. That word is the difference between a fast free replacement and a claim we cannot win. If damage is bad enough, refuse the shipment and the driver takes it back. Then call us at 321-213-8515 right away and we start the replacement.
Once you sign clean, the freight company assumes the unit arrived in good shape. If you find damage after that, we will still help, but the process is slower and outcomes are not guaranteed. Take the extra two minutes at delivery. It saves days on the back end.
